An agent is the AI that works your leads. It holds the conversation, asks the right qualifying questions, answers the contact, and knows when to bring in a human. Each agent is purpose-built for an insurance vertical and works leads across both SMS and live phone calls.

What an agent does

Every agent comes with three things working together:
  • A built-in qualification flow — the playbook it follows to work a lead, tuned for its vertical.
  • Conversation Instructions — your account’s own rules layered on top: tone, what to emphasize, and how to handle objections.
  • Qualifying questions — the details it gathers (for example coverage type, vehicles, address) to qualify the lead.
The agent pursues these conversationally rather than as a rigid script — it adapts to what the contact says, in the contact’s own language.

Prebuilt verticals

Mav.next ships with agents tuned for specific insurance lines:

Auto Insurance

Qualifies auto leads — vehicles, drivers, current coverage, and more — and connects them to a rep for a quote.

Home Insurance

Qualifies home and property leads and routes interested contacts to your team.
Your account is set up with the agent(s) that match your business. To adjust how an agent sounds and behaves, see Configuring an agent.

Works across SMS and voice

The same agent runs the text conversation and the phone call. It can text a lead, place a call, transfer to a rep, and follow up by text afterward — all as one continuous relationship, with full memory of everything said on either channel. See Conversations & Channels for how this works.

Always compliant

Customer-facing agents have TCPA safeguards built in — they honor STOP and HELP keywords, include the required messaging disclosures, and respect your texting and calling hours. See Compliance for details.
